Timeline Memory Installation
The Windows installer sets up the Timeline Memory panel for Premiere Pro and the included After Effects bridge.
Before you install
- For the current build, use Windows 11 (64-bit) with Adobe Premiere Pro 2026.
- For Dynamic Link workflows, use the matching After Effects host version.
Install
- 1Close Premiere Pro and After Effects, then run the Timeline Memory Windows installer.
- 2Reopen Premiere Pro and select Window > Extensions (Legacy) > Timeline Memory.
- 3Start the trial or activate a purchased license from the panel. Installing the panel alone does not start the trial.
After Effects bridge
If the installer reports that the bridge needs a manual step, follow the instructions shown by setup before using After Effects recovery workflows.
Next steps
See Timeline Memory Licensing for trial and Full activation. If the panel does not appear, contact support with your Premiere Pro version, installer build, and the exact error message.
