Information you provide

When you contact OR-IAN, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and message, so we can respond to you and provide support.

If you sign up for Product Updates, we collect your email address so we can send you product and release updates. You can stop receiving these updates by contacting us.

Messages and signup submissions are kept in the administrator's email for support follow-up or product-update administration. This email workflow currently has no automatic deletion period.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics is optional and is used only if you have accepted optional analytics. OR-IAN uses it to understand how the website is used and improve the site and product information.

Google Analytics may collect pages viewed, site interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, and referral or campaign data. It may also set first-party cookies such as _ga.

The website stores your analytics preference so your choice can be remembered.

You can accept or reject optional analytics and change your choice at any time using Analytics preferences in the website footer.

See Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Technical Information

Limited technical information, such as browser and request details, may be processed as part of the normal operation of our website and software services. This helps us maintain service reliability, resolve technical issues, and improve performance.

When an installer is requested, we record the product, requested file, time, approximate country, and an event ID for request reporting and administrator alerts. These records do not include names, email addresses, or full IP addresses. They currently have no automatic expiration and are retained while needed for operational reporting and troubleshooting.

Temporary installer diagnostics may also record the HTTP method, Range type, response status, network ASN, broad browser or client family, an available verified-bot signal, and a request classification. They do not include full IP addresses or full User-Agent strings. A daily cleanup is scheduled to remove diagnostic records older than 30 days. This processing is separate from optional Google Analytics and does not depend on your analytics preference.

To issue and verify Trial and paid licenses, our licensing services process a device-derived hash, Trial or license identifier, product version, license status, and activation and validation times. For paid licenses, Payhip may provide purchaser email and entitlement details. We retain these records while needed to maintain access, enforce Trial and activation limits, provide support, and meet legal obligations. They are not covered by the 30-day diagnostic cleanup and currently have no automatic expiration.

For service security, the licensing services use pseudonymous rate-limit buckets derived from network requests rather than storing full IP addresses in their licensing databases. Rate-limit and administrator-notification records currently have no automatic expiration; they are retained while needed for abuse prevention, audit, and troubleshooting. Contact us with questions about retention or deletion.
